For now, NetEase isn’t adjusting any of them, choosing to first focus on the game’s current issues.
The first major patch has finally arrived forMarvel Rivalsand the first wave of fixes focuses on more general issues. Certain areas withinMarvel Rivals' Intergalactic Empire of Wakandaand Hydra Charteris Base maps had collision issues or problems with effects being changed when certain characters like Storm or Jeff the Land Shark activated their abilities. On PC, there was an issue with a memory leak for players using FSR, while the Scarlet Spider costume had display issues on PlayStation.
Although no balance changes have been made to any characters in this update, many heroes had specific issues resolved. In fact,Marvel Rivalscalled out the recent Doctor Strange bug, where the character could instantly restore their ultimate charge. While the bug isn’t fully resolved, this update temporarily disables the portals' terrain KO attribution to prevent this bug from activating. A permanent solution is coming in a future update.
