4Giving Her Energy
Knowing how overpowered Mavuika’s Elemental Burst is, it’s only natural to build her to deal the most DMG through it. Some players might just stack as much Energy Recharge on her, or even pair her with abattery inGenshin Impact. However, Mavuika has a unique Elemental Burst that works with Fighting Spirit instead.
To collect Fighting Spirit and be able to cast Mavuika’s Elemental Burst more often, it’s best to team her with characters from Natlan since they can activate their Nightsoul’s Blessing states. you’re able to also cast her Elemental Skill more often as it also helps regenerate her Burst back. Lastly, Mavuika can also get some Fighting Spirit when another character deals DMG with their Normal attack, which is good when she’s operating as an off-field DPS inGenshin Impact.
3Underestimating Her Tap Skill
Mavuika can deal a lot of DMG when using herElemental Burst inGenshin Impact. you may even use the Pyro Archon as a main DPS while using the hold version of her Elemental Skill, which is the logical thing to do considering she needs to keep operating as a Pyro driver.
On the other hand, Mavuika also possesses a special ability with her Elemental Skill when you tap it. It will create a Ring of Searing Radiance that will follow the active character and deal off-field Pyro DMG to enemies. It works great when she’soperating as an off-field Sub-DPSbecause of how strong the hit is. Even if you’re planning to play Mavuika as a main DPS, you should always trigger the tap version of her Elemental Skill before you switch her out, since it’s a main source of energy to her unique Elemental Burst inGenshin Impact.
2Losing Burst DMG
Having one of thestrongest DPS inGenshin Impactcomes with a price. You must fully understand Mavuika’s DMG and where it comes from or else her hits will start looking underwhelming. First, Mavuika can unleash her Elemental Burst as soon as her Fighting Spirit reaches 50% of her maximum capacity. Casting her Elemental Burst before reaching the maximum will severely affect her DPS since Mavuika heavily scales with Fighting Spirit points.
Additionally, when Mavuika enters the Crucible of Death and Life state, she gains new animations and scalings on her attacks. Prioritize spinning around with her Charged attack as it deals the most DMG in her kit. Using her Normal attack is still viable, but not as effective as her Charged attack.
1Leveling Up Her Normal Attack
When building Mavuika inGenshin Impact, players should avoid leveling up her Normal attack since it only enhances the damage she deals when sheswings her Claymore and not add anythingto her roles.
Instead, to deal damage, players can cast Mavuika’s Skill or Burst, where she’ll get a new set of Normal attacks. This means that even though players are using Mavuika’s Normal or Charged attacks, they don’t scale with the Normal attack Talent.
