The firstAdventure Timecharacters to join the fighting game were the inseparable Finn and Jake, bringing an assassin and a bruiser. Finn became one of thestrongestMultiVersusfighters, while Jake had a fall from grace of sorts, and no longer enjoys the prominent position he once had in the meta. The third debut was the most unexpected of the three, adding the Banana Guard toMultiVersus, which gained another bruiser and a charismatic joke character.

Now,MultiVersushas announced that Marceline will be added on December 17. In the new trailer, the Vampire Queen from thehighly popular cartoonAdventure Timeappears interacting with other characters, using her bass guitar axe to deal damage, switching to vampire bat form to grab, bash, and elbow opponents, and amplifying her attacks with the rhythm of the music. According to the official announcement, she will be available for individual purchase for 1000 Gleamium, $9.99, or one character ticket for players who own the Founder’s Pack. A bundle will be sold for $29.99 with the character, the Sun Hat skin, the Drop the Bass taunt, and other items. On December 20, players will be able to buy Marceline for 6000 Fighter currency, or via Fighter Road, in addition to the previous methods.
Marceline is the Next MultiVersus Character
Along with Marceline’s debut, theMultiVersusmap poolwill increase with the addition of the Candy Kingdom map, an iconicAdventure Timelocation. The map will be available on December 17, and after that, the game will see the debut of Rogue Rifts, a variant of Rifts in which players have a limited number of attempts per day. The first Rogue Rift will be available from June 12, 2025, to Jun 08, 2025, and, by completing each challenge, players will have the chance to get the Abominable Mountaineer skin for Jason.
