A special episode premiered on Netflix last month. Despite being tagged as “episode 13”,it is actually an OVAoriginally released in Japan back in March, as part of a special bundle for the 8th volume of the novel. It is worth noticing that Netflix does not usually acquire rights to stream content originally meant to be only available to buyers of special bundle volumes — however, it would be too soon to know if this is only an exception or if it might mean Netflix is taking a different approach to anime.
Netflix already confirmed it will stream the new episodes.
