Gundam: The Witch from Mercuryfans are in for a treat as they will get more content to go through soon. In a recent announcement, it was confirmedthat Gundam: The Witch from Mercury willlaunch a new spin-off manga.
The manga is titled Gundam: The Witch from Mercury- Youth Frontier, and it will be released in Spring 2025 on Comic Newtype. The story will be set in a parallel world where Suletta and Miorine meet as high school girls. This will be a new take on the series, and needless to say, many fans will be eager to read it.

According to reports, Hisadake and Hata Hiro will be involved in the project. Hisadake was part ofthe original Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime series, where he served as the Setting Assistant. He will provide the scenario for the manga.
Hiro Hato will be working as the artist for Gundam: The Witch from Mercury— Youth Frontier. He has previously worked on Misumi-san Can’t See Through and Dogs and the Brave are Not Showy. At the time of writing, no other details have been revealed, but that will change in the coming weeks.
Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Has Been A Hit With The Audience
Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is the15th installment in the Gundam franchise. It premiered in October 2022, and it ran for 12 episodes. Before the anime’s premiere, a prologue episode was released in July 2022. The second season of Gundam: The Witch from Mercury aired from April 2023 to July 2023.
While both seasons had great animation, fans were disappointed by the handling of the story. Aside from the main story, other plotlines were abandoned by the staff. They believed that the story could have been handled better by the writers.
Gundam: The Witch from Mercury’s season two finalewas embroiled in controversy. It was reported that there was a lot of mismanagement within the studio. Over 90 animators were needed to produce the episode, something which is unheard of, especially when it’s not even a special episode.
There was another controversy about the anime and it was related to the omission of same-sex marriage in the digital print. Fans did not like that the publisher was trying to cover up something that was canon and clearly implied in the show.
