The user noticed an icon referencing the Thousand Sons, one of the enemy factions withinSpace Marine 2, a class that remains unplayable inWarhammer 40K: Space Marine 2for now. This icon points to another mysterious feature, the Research Center, which appears to be an expansion to the Battle Barge, something developer Saber Interactive has promised for quite some time.

Space Marine 2 Player Discovers Unannounced New Content

Space Marine 2’s Battle Bargeacts as a hub for players and contains space for customization, as well as a gathering point for online play. The Research Center includes a new unnamed currency to spend on unlocks likely meant for the Battle Barge, which is sorted into four categories: Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Tyranids, and the previously mentioned Thousand Sons Chaos Marines.
