Nine Sols: How Does Internal Damage Work
To start with the basics, Internal Damage is a type of damage that isautomatically recoveredif it is not converted into direct damage before the recovery occurs. Yi’s Internal Damage is converted into direct damage if he takes actual damage before the recovery, while an enemy’s Internal Damage is converted into direct damage with the Qi Blast ability. Yi Internal Damage
Yi takes Internal Damage any time that he deflects an attack with animprecise parry, which is a parry that is done slightly too early. Yi’s Internal Damage is represented as ared sectionon his health bar, and that section grows asNine Solsplayersperform consecutive imprecise parries. That red section willrefillif Yi stops taking Internal Damage for a short time, and it isremovedif he takes actual damage before the refill has occurred.

Enemy Internal Damage
Yi can inflict Internal Damage upon an enemy by attaching a Talisman to them, hitting them with a Tai-Chi Kick when they glow green, successfully executing an Unbound Counter, and performing several other actions. There is a key difference between Yi’s Internal Damage and an enemy’s Internal Damage, though.
