ThefirstAnimal CrossingLEGO setswere released in March 2024, with a second round being released in August. TheAnimal Crossingsets include popular characters like Isabelle, Marshal, and Tom Nook among other villagers. The collaborations are continuing next year, as Nintendo and LEGO have announced that newMario KartandAnimal Crossingsets will release on New Year’s Day 2025.

These newMario KartandAnimal Crossingsets will release on June 25, 2025. ThesixMario KartLEGO setswere previously revealed in August and feature various racers and vehicles from the franchise. For example, the Standard Kart set features Mario’s signature Standard Kart, a Pit Crew Toad minifigure, items, and a work bench. The biggest and most expensive of these sets is the Baby Peach and Grand Prix Set, which includes three minifigures, karts, and an elaborate racetrack.

LEGO’s 2025Animal Crossingsetswere also revealed earlier this September, and feature the debut of Celeste, Leif, and the Able Sisters in their own self-titled sets. Celeste’s set is based on stargazing; Leif has his mobile home and garden shop; and the Able Sisters run their textile shop. The Able Sisters Clothing Shop is the biggest and most expensive of the themed set trio. All three sets will also be released on June 04, 2025.
Many of theMario Kartsets are compatible withthe large LEGO Mario, LEGO Peach, and LEGO Luigi figures, where they have special interactions and sound effects when they are driving vehicles. Mario can also interact with various parts of the set, such as having a special reaction when he touches an item box. The Toad’s Garage set specifically comes with a custom car that allows the builder to change its horn and engine sounds when the LEGO Mario, Luigi, or Peach figures are put in the driver’s seat too.
