According to a report fromThe InSneider, Zendaya’s character of MJ is only going to have a minor role inSpider-Man 4, which might come as a surprise. Her role will be reduced due to her busy acting schedule away from the MCU, as she only has August 2025 to shoot herSpider-Man 4scenes. Zendaya is going to be filmingthe third season ofEuphoriaandDune: MessiaharoundSpider-Man 4’sproduction, which is set to restrict her availability and is leading to her having a smaller role this time around.
Even though MJ is going to have a smaller part, the report confirmed that Charlie Cox is going to be returning as Daredevil while Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is going to be part of the movie too, bolstering the cast of characters with some other superheroes who could potentially add to whatever story Spider-Man will be involved in this time around. Parker is also set to bejoined by several new classmates, which could bring him more characters of a similar age to interact with. That is going to be beneficial because it means that there should be less of an impact regarding MJ not being involved as much.
