The upcoming Feybreak update forPalworldis stated to be the game’s largest content patch to date. Feybreak was revealed during the 2024 edition of The Game Awards. In the days leading up to the new update, Pocket Pair stated that Feybreak would have a new region six times larger than Sakurajima, which was introduced in June 2024. In addition to this new landmass filled with new biomes and mountains,Feybreak will introduce a new Factionalong with new Pals, Weapons, and Buildings for players to peruse.Palworldwill release the Feybreak update on December 23 on all available platforms, and the game is 25% off on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store at the time of writing.

In a 10-second trailer alongside the Hardcore Mode announcement,Palworldteased some items that would arrive in Feybreak, including an operating table that had a Cattiva lying on it as an example, and a new Pal wielding a sharp, red cutting tool. Other pieces of base equipment that Palworld players can build in Feybreak were an upgraded Egg Incubator, and a device reminiscent of an MRI. The teaser trailer also showed what appeared to be a blue-colored variant of the Pal called Foxparks, though its element was not confirmed.
Palworld Is Adding Hardcore Mode On December 23
In the announcement, Pocket Pair did not state the differences between a normal mode playthrough ofPalworldand a Hardcore Mode run. However, limited resources and permanent death were among the guesses made by players on social media, which would make collecting Pals andcrafting weapons and tools inPalworldmore challenging. It is also not clear if Hardcore Mode will require a separate save file or server configuration, soPalworldplayers must wait until December 23 to see what the rules are. In response to the news, Palworld players expressed excitement and curiosity about Hardcore Mode.
