Despite its continued efforts,the company took to thePath of Exile 2forum to apologizefor the longer-than-normal response time for player support requests which has resulted from the massive amount of feedback the game has been receiving. The company cited therobustPath of Exile 2early player numbersas a contributing factor. “We’ve had a massive amount of players logging intoPath of Exile 2since launch, which has been amazing to see! Unfortunately, such a huge influx of players also generates an enormous amount of support requests,” the post reads. GGG claims to already be hiring more staff to field support requests to help clear the backlog. The company also asked that users not submit additional emails inquiring after the status of their initial support request in order to avoid further bogging down the response cycle.

Path of Exile 2 Developer Takes Responsive Approach to Feedback

Grinding Gear Games went on to say that other technical limitations in its support system became apparent after launch and that it has “now improved the capacity of [its] tools” to be able to better respond to the volume of emails it’s receiving. The studio’s quick response to rising technical issues has been accompanied by a quick approach to initial player feedback on the balance and structure of gameplay.Path of Exile 2loot drops have already been modified, along with changes to dodge roll, checkpoints, currency, and more.
