Classes, Ascendancies, & Builds

Though players can freely equip gear, Skills, and Passive Skills (as long as they meet the requirements), inPoE 2, Classes form the foundation of your build. Each Class starts on a different part of the Passive Skill Tree, guiding players towards passives that tend to work well with that archetype.

There are a planned 12 Classes forPath of Exile 2, but only six are currently available in thePoE 2Early Access. However, the Ascendancy system has already been added, giving each Class a choice between powerful, and permanent, Skill Trees that supplement the normal Passive Skill Tree.

These guides go into detail on the various endgame systems ofPath of Exile 2, including how to unlock the Endgame, the Atlas and its related mechanics, and other activities players can take on when they beat Cruel difficulty.

Though mostPath of Exile 2players will be satisfied with their experience in the game by understanding the foundations and game systems, some want to go further beyond and truly maximize their experience.

These advancedPath of Exile 2tips cover things that players should know, but won’t typically matter until the late or endgame. For example, though knowing about Loot Filters is handy when mapping in the Atlas, it doesn’t matter quite as much in the campaign, when you should be picking up virtually everything for Gold. But even then, you should know what to hold onto and what’s worth selling.
