There’sno shortage of CurrenciesinPath of Exile 2, but the Divine Orb might just be the rarest of all – except the exceptionally rare Mirror of Kalandra, which can perfectly copy any piece of gear when used.

The Divine Orb is one of the most coveted items inPoE 2, and its average trading value reflects theextremely powerful effectit has on use. When used, it will essentially re-roll all modifiers on an item. To get a Divine Orb, though, you will either need a lot of patience or a lot of other high-value Currencies to trade for one with.

PoE 2 Divine Orb Currency Use Randomize Modifier Values

Divine Orb: Path of Exile 2 Uses & Effects

InPath of Exile 2, Divine Orb Currencies can be used to randomize the numeric values of the affixes on any item. This applies toMagic, Rare, and even Unique items– as long as the modifier values on the item are the result of a roll (which you’re able to check by holding Alt over the item), they can be re-rolled with a Divine Orb.

Though the results are random, and can often result in worse values, this is one of the most highly coveted Currencies inPath of Exile 2. Divine Orb drops are extremely rare, and players will pay hundreds of Exalted Orbs, or countless other endgame Currencies, for one.

If you are certain that you have an item with good modifiers but bad values that will be improved by the Divine Orb, it’s worth consuming. But if you don’t want to risk wasting such a high-value item, consider trading it to another player for a heap of other powerful Currencies.

How To Get Divine Orb In Path of Exile 2

Grind Enemies & Loot Containers In Cruel & Endgame Maps

InPath of Exile 2, Divine Orbs will practically never drop from low-level Campaign Acts, extremely rarely in Cruel difficulty, and very rarely as you take on the Atlas in the endgame. In fact, some have logged hundreds of hours inPath of Exile 2since launch and never had a Divine Orb drop.

Like many rare Currencies, the best way to get Divine Orbs inPoE 2is to simplygrind enemies and open containersin high-level content. You cannot target farm Divine Orbs, though. As you clear endgame Atlas maps, pay special attention to Currency loot and make sure to open every single container (Chest, Urn, or otherwise) for the best chance to get Divine Orbs.
