InPath of Exile 2, Uncut Spirit Gems work like regular Uncut Skill Gems, but instead of giving a Skill they grant the player a choice of Persistent Skill Buffs. These Buffs are fuelled by Spirit, a new resource that can be reserved permanently toenable these permanent character buffs– and summon permanent minions.
But to get Uncut Spirit Gems and unlock Persistent Buffs,Path of Exile 2players only have a few options available to them. To get more Uncut Spirit Gems inPoE 2you must take onspecific challenges in each Actor farm Rares and Bosses in later Acts and Cruel difficulty.
Note that Uncut Spirit Gems are extremely rare, but as you clear maps faster and take on more challenging content, you will get more Uncut Spirit Gems at higher Gem levels.
How To Get More Uncut Spirit Gems In PoE 2
Bosses That Grant Max Spirit Always Drop AnUncut Spirit Gem
There are three places inPath of Exile 2to get nearly guaranteedUncut Spirit Gemdrops –the Act 1 and 3 Spirit-boosting bosses, and the Golden Tomb area in Act 2. These areas all contain an item that willincrease your Max Spirit by 30, and each drops anUncut Spirit Gemto give you something to do with your bolstered reserves.
The Bog Witch does not always drop anUncut Spirit gem, but has a higher chance to drop one than other bosses.
TheKing in the Mistsand Golden Tomb always reward anUncut Spirit Gemin addition to their one-time Spirit bonus on first discovery.
Some players have reported not being rewarded with either anUncut Spirit Gemor a consumable to boost Max Spirit from The Golden Tomb. This appears to be a bug, and if this happens, try creating a new instance for The Lost City and locate the Golden Tomb sub-zone again.
Defeat Rares & Bosses For HigherUncut Spirit GemDrop Chance
In addition to the three guaranteedUncut Spirit Gemsources,Path of Exile 2players canfind Uncut Spirit Gems rarely from Rare and Boss enemies. Though every enemy in the game has a small chance to drop these items, Rares and Bosses have a higher chance than Normal or Magic enemies.
To efficiently farm Rares and Bosses take on areas that are two to four levels below your own. This will let you whiz by enemies, more easily kill Rares and Bosses, and generally clear the zone faster. If you go lower than four levels below your level, the XP and item rewards will be terrible, but you will technically be able toget Uncut Spirit Gems faster.
Remember to loot all chests and containers on the way, as there is a chance for these environmental chests to contain Uncut Spirit Gems, too.
Players in Acts 1 and 2 very rarely see Uncut Spirit Gems drop from any source except the bosses and Golden Tomb listed above. However, players in Act 3, Cruel difficulty, and thePoE 2endgame will see them drop more frequently from other sources.
