The biggest news is that there’s a new piece ofPhasmophobiaequipmentcoming next year: the Sound Recorder. Phasmophobia is Getting a New Piece of Equipment in 2025

Phasmophobiais getting a few reworks in 2025. The blog post shared a work-in-progress look at several rooms inPhasmophobia’s Bleasdale Farmhouse map, which is set to get a significant rework at some point in the future. It certainly doesn’t look like a small set of changes, so it is an update to look forward to. Kinetic Games also offered a glimpse at some Journal changes. The Photos page is being replaced with the Media tab, which will encompass photos, videos, and sound recordings. This will change how players can get a perfect map. Capturing a specific media type will eventually be branded “Unique” by the game, rewarding more money than duplicate images. No more farming salt photos for money.

It looks set to be an exciting year ahead forPhasmophobiaplayers. Alongside its planned content updates, hopefully Kinetic Games will also continue with the holiday events as it has over the last few years.Phasmophobia’s recent Christmas eventwas fun, allowing players to contribute to the community goal without needing to play the game constantly.
