Summary
A talentedPokemonfan has recently created a Christmas-inspired version of Weepinbell, turning the cute bell-shaped creature into an adorable Christmas decor. ThePokemoncommunity loves to design commemorative versions of popular creatures, and holidays, such as Christmas or Halloween, are often excellent times to see the creativity of the fan base.
Introduced inthe first generation ofPokemongames, Weepinbell is a Grass/Poison-type creature that could only be captured inPokemon BlueandYellow. Despite being available on Routes 12, 13, 14, and 15 in these games, a Weepinbell could also be obtained by evolving a Bellsprout starting at Level 21. When exposed to a Leaf Stone, Weepinbell can be evolved into the powerful Victreebel, which cannot be found in the wild in any of the mainlinePokemongames. At high levels, these creatures have access to powerful moves such as the Poison-type Poison Jab, and the Grass-type Power Whip.

Now, aPokemonfan called meluharegion has devised a Weepinbell variant inspired by classic Christmas decorations. In this new form, Weepinbell was drawn like an actual bell, with a red ribbon and heart-shaped hooks, and looked like the perfect decor for a Christmas tree. In the post’s comments, fellow fans praised meluharegion’s design and came up with several ideas of names for the new critter, such as Jinglebell, Bellend, Cheerinbell, Merrybel, and others.
Christmas-Inspired Weepinbell Pokemon Fan Art
During festive times,Pokemonfans often devise unique themed versions for popular creatures, and this was not the first Christmas-inspired Pokemon to be shared this year. Last month, for example, onefan designed six Christmas-themed makeovers for Bulbasaur. In these new forms, the popular Grass-type monster was depicted as Santa Claus, a snow globe, and traditional Christmas candies.
Last year, another fan createdChristmas versions of the Johto starters. At the time, the fan drew a Cyndaquil that looked like a snowman, a Totodile seemingly made out of a gingerbread cookie, and a cute Chikorita that looked like a candle with a wreath around its neck.
Another cute fan art was shared by a fan who designed aChristmas-inspired Umbreon. Inspired by a meme, this fan devised a cat-like Umbreon with objects that would normally appear on a Christmas tree, such as a star on top of its head and Christmas lights attached to its body. Hopefully, other talented fans will continue to come up with seasonal-inspiredPokemonfan art, sharing their amazing creativity with fellow fans.
