Summary
APokemonfan has recently devised a new Mega Evolution for Chesnaught. Mega Evolutions were originally introduced inPokemon X and Yas temporary new forms for the game’s many creatures. Despite not all mainline games continuing to feature them, they quickly became fairly popular with fan artists who lovePokemon.
Chesnaught is a Grass/Fighting-type monster that was introduced inthe sixth generation ofPokemongamesas the final evolution of one of the three starters. InPokemon X and Y, gamers can pick between the Grass-type Chespin, the Fire-type Fennekin, or the Water-type Froakie. Starting at Level 16, Chespin evolves into Quilladin and then finally into Chesnaught at Level 36 or higher. Due to its dual-type nature, Chesnaught has moves such as the Fighting-type Bulk Up, as well as the Grass-type Wood Hammer.

Now, aPokemonfan named Abhigyan_World has devised a new Mega evolution for Chesnaught. In this new form, the critter looks bigger and more menacing than its normal shape, boasting a bigger green carapace, a huge shield on one of its arms, and what looks like a blade on the other. While the artwork still greatly resembles the original Chesnaught, it has some neat details, such as the creature wearing what seems to be a horned helmet and knee pads as part of its natural armor.
Mega Chesnaught Pokemon Fan Art
A few months ago, another fan also createdan incredible Mega Chestnaught fan art. However, this fan followed a different path when reimagining the popular creature. In this unique design, the creature’s armor carapace was completely different, becoming bigger while maintaining its overall round design.
Other fans have designed Mega Evolutions for other popular creatures, too. Back in October, for example, onecreator devised a Grass/Dark-type Mega Tropius. The new evolution still maintained its dinosaur-inspired body but had darker leaves on it, as well as a horn and sharper claws.
Another design that stood out recently was shared by a fan who designed aMega Evolution for Electrode. The popular Gen 1 critter was reimagined after being inspired by a Great Ball about to explode, using different colors. The creature also came with a new signature move called Surge Runaway, which was described by the fan artist as an Electric move with a Power of 150, but making the user explode and faint. Other fans will likely keep coming up with new Mega Evolutions for popular Pokemon in the future, considering how beloved these designs often are.
