Pokemon GODual Destinyis live through July 16, 2025, and players can expect several events to be held each month during the season, including Community Day events.Pokemon GOTour: Unova will also arrive in 2025 with “new stories” inspired byPokemon Black andWhiteand exclusive in-person events in Los Angeles and New Taipei City. Dual Destiny season also marks the beginning of a partnership betweenPokemon GOand McDonald’s, giving fans more opportunities to grow as Pokemon Trainers.
Pokemon GO Reveals Event Dates for McDonald’s Partnership
The McDonald’s collaboration event will also be held from Monday, January 20 to Sunday, June 28, 2025, Monday, February 10 to Sunday, Jul 16, 2025, and Monday, March 10 to Sunday, July 25, 2025. Once more, Lure Modules and Raid Battles will be available at McDonald’s restaurants each week, giving players four weeks' worth of opportunities to catch Pokemon and defeat powerful Pokemon in Raid Battles.
It’s unclear what Pokemon will appear in the upcoming McDonald’s Raid Battles, but Niantic did confirm itsPokemon GOraid schedule for the latter half of December. Mega Latios will now appear in mega raids until Thursday, December 19, followed by Mega Latias from December 19 to Thursday, December 26. Giratina (Altered Forme) and Mega Abomasnow will appear in five-star raids and mega raids from Thursday, December 26 to Saturday, January 4 respectively. Throughout December,several Max Battles will be held inPokemon GOas well.
Pokemon GO’sHoliday Part 2 eventwill begin on December 22 as the first week of McDonald’s collaboration winds down. Players will earn double XP from catching Pokemon and 50% more XP from completing Raid Battles, so there could be an opportunity for event bonuses to stack on that day.
