Pokemon GOhas officially started its worldwide holiday event for 2024. Players will be able to enjoy catching winter Pokemon, but new Shiny variants have been introduced during this event, and players can also catch Pokemon wearing winter or holiday outfits during this event as well. This isn’t limited to Pokemon that are spawning in the wild either, but also in raid battles.

Holiday Event Part 1 Guide in Pokemon GO
ThePokemon GOholiday event runs from December 17 at 10 am local time until December 22 at 10 am local time. During the event, players will also receive double XP for catching Pokemon, which is perfect since a new Shiny variant of Sandygast has also been introduced during the event as well. This is the first time this Shiny has been in the game. Players will also have 1/2 hatch distance for eggs that are placed into an incubator during the event as well.
