ThePokemon GOHoliday Part 1 event (2024) starts onDecember 17 at 10 AMand ends onDecember 22, at 9:59 AM Local Time. Holiday Attire Dedenne and its Shiny variant are making their debut during the event. Completing the Research tasks rewards you with numerous valuable items and encounters with featured Pokemon like Sandygast, Shadow Vulpix, Alolan Vulpix, and more. ThePokemon GOHoliday Part 1 Field Research quest comprises only 4 tasks. The Research tasks include catching different types includingGround-type Pokemon, Fire-type Pokemon, and more. Completing one of these tasks might reward you with the recently debuted Shiny Sandygast.

Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 - Timed Research Tasks And Rewards
Pokemon GOHoliday Part 1 event has a free Timed Research quest. There are multiple steps on the Timed Research but it segments after completing step 1. You can choose to help either the Spark branch which revolves aroundIce-type Pokemonor the Sierra branch which revolves around Fire-type Pokemon. While completing one branch rewards you with an Alolan Vulpix encounter, the other rewards Shadow Vulpix.
