Despite everything it has going for it, however,Star Wars Jedi: Survivorfaced some immense criticism at launch, particularly surrounding its performance issues on PC. This criticism may have only been aimed at the PC platform, but that negativity nonetheless leaked into its reputation, even on the PS4 and PS5 consoles. As such, if it were added to PS Plus in January 2025, perhaps it would get the shot it needs to impress.

Serving as a successor to the 2014 game of the same name,Lords of the Fallen(2023) takes players to a vast world where they navigate between the realm of the living, Axiom, and the realm of the dead, Umbral, by using a magical lantern. The dual-realm mechanic is one of the game’s standout features, as it ultimately enhancesLords of the Fallen’s explorationand puzzles and sets it apart from other games in the ARPG genre. Unfortunately,Lords of the Fallendidn’t perform too well from a critical standpoint, despite selling over one million units in the first ten days. As such, January 2025’s PS Plus lineup might be the perfect spot for it to redeem itself.
