While the spawn rate of most items will depend onthe player’s skill point selection, there are a few items that are rare, regardless of what skills the player has invested in.
As time goes on, players will most likely unlock all there is to unlock. However, there will always be a handful of items that are rare and hard to come by. From things that only spawn in one or two locations to schematics that have an incredibly low spawn rate, this list will cover a variety of rare items.
8Vitamins
A Rare Spawning Non-Craftable Item
Unlike most other in-game items, vitamins can’t be crafted by the player. They can only be obtained bysearching loot containers, buying them from traders, or selecting them as the occasional mission reward.Vitamins are pretty important. So, players should always keep an eye out for vitamins while out looting or while visiting traders.
Vitamins have two main functions. The first is that they cure fatigue. Fatigue is something that can happen to a player when they take damage from an enemy. The other function is the ability to grant the player temporary immunity to infection. Getting infected isn’t fun. So, before a Blood Moon, it might be worth popping a vitamin to ward off the nasty zombie virus.
7Solar Banks
A Rare And Expensive Late-Game Item
As players progress, their game stage will increase. The higher the player’s game stage, the more difficult the game becomes. However, it also allows players to find better-quality items. The game stage, combined with the loot stage, helps players come across more top-tier items.Solar banks are a great way of producing energyat the player’s base.Unfortunately, these things can’t be crafted.
There are only a couple of ways to obtain a solar bank. The first is via a trader. The likelihood of a trader stocking a solar bank is low. Also, be prepared to fork over lots of Dukes, as when a trader has one in stock, they charge a small fortune. The second way to get a solar bank is by opening a solar bank bundle. These can be found in high-tier mission containers, and they can also be given out by traders upon completing a difficult mission.
Very Rare Schematics
Pocket mods are great as they allow players to carry more before becoming encumbered. Carrying too much is annoying as it dramatically slows down the player’s movement speed. Applying these handy little mods to armor pieces means that players can carry more, which in turn allows them tomake more Dukes when selling items to traders.
Triple and quad pocket mods can sometimes be found inside loot containers and as items being sold by traders.However, if the player wants to craft their own, then they’ll need to have luck on their side.The schematics to craft either of those pocket mods are incredibly hard to come by.
5Super Corn Recipe
Only Spawns In A Couple Of Places
Super Corn is the holy grail when it comes to making money. This crop is incredibly valuable. It can also be grown and turned into glue, which helps the player with all their crafting needs. While players can find the recipe to craft Super Corn in a loot bag or loot container during the late stages of the game, it is rare.
There are two main places where players can pick up the plan to craft Super Corn. The first is inside Bob’s Boars and Carl’s Corn. The second location is in a green shed inside NDC Checkpoint 3.
4Shamway Secret Recipe
Secret, Rare, And Very Useful During The Late Stages Of The Game
The plan to craft Shamway Secret Recipe isn’t as rare as some of the other entries on this list, but it does rely on a fair amount of luck.Players can be awarded this itemupon completing a mission. They can also find it inside various loot containers. However, the chances are pretty slim.
The reason why this recipe is so useful is that it gives players the ability to craft cans of Sham. A can of Sham is very cheap to make. It can also be used to cook up some tasty Sham Chowder. This dish satisfies the player’s thirst and hunger levels while also giving them a fortitude boost and a temporary increase to the player’s max stamina level.
3Taza’s Stone Axe
A Hyper Rare Axe
Taza’s Stone Axe has been in7 Days To Diefor a very long time. While it is one of the rarest items in the game, it’s not all that useful. Simply put, it’s an axe that performs slightly better than a regular stone axe.Players can find this in late-game loot containers. However, the chances are incredibly slim.
It is believed that the devs removed the weapon from the game for a while. So, players could only obtain this weapon via console commands. Now, the axe seems to be available again. However, as mentioned, the chances of getting one are very, very low.
2Candy Cane Knife
A Seasonal Murder Weapon
Players who enjoy the festive season may want to keep an eye out for the Candy Cane Knife. As its name suggests,this is a knife that looks exactly like a candy cane. Its stats are very similar tothe regular hunting knife. But despite its rather basic stats, it is a hot weapon that many players grind for.
This item is typically only available throughout the festive period. And, just like all of the other items on this list, it is pretty hard to come by. This is one of the most difficult weapons to obtain outside of console commands. Players do have a small chance of finding one inside a loot container, but this will rarely happen.
1Candy Cane Club
Bludgeon Enemies Over The Festive Period
The Candy Cane Club is similar to the previous entry. Those who have created a club-based build will want to swap out their regular club for this one. Unfortunately, it’s not all that powerful. However, it’s not often that players get the opportunity to kill zombies using a Candy Cane Club.
Just like the Candy Cane Knife, the Candy Cane Club is one of the rarest items in the game.Its spawn rate is pretty close to zero. So, should a player find one while playing, it’s best to hang onto it as a collector’s piece.
