The Razer Iskur V2 offers extensive ergonomic adjustments, including 6D lumbar support. However, its steep price tag makes some buyers gravitate towardbudget gaming chairs. At CES 2025, Razer just announced the Iskur V2 X, a more affordable option that doesn’t compromise comfort.
The chair features high-density foam cushions and a 152-degree recline. Gamers can already order theIskur V2 X at Razer’s websitefor $299.99.
Razer isn’t taking any risks with the design of the Iskur V2 X. Unlike theSecretlab Titan Evoseries, it focuses on one style that works in most setups. The chair is mostly black, with green stitching and the manufacturer’s famous logo on the headrest. At least for now, there isn’t an alternate color option like the even stealthier black version of the Iskur V2.
The rear of the new wallet-friendly chair showcases more Razer branding. Since the Iskur V2 X doesn’t have the advanced lumbar support of its pricier cousin, the chair has a slimmer profile. As with the V2, the V2 X includes a backrest curved inward to mold to backs and shoulders.

The Iskur V2 fits most bodies like a glove, but some occupants find it unnecessarily squeezes legs. To make the V2 X roomier, Razer enlarged the seat base to 545 mm or 21.5 inches. The flexible but resilient foam in the seat supports various sitting positions without sagging over time.
Buyers are often confused about what thebest gaming chair materialis for them. PU leather is popular because it’s relatively durable and easy to maintain. However, body heat can make for an uncomfortable sitting experience during long gaming sessions. The Iskur V2 X uses a more breathable fabric blend. With the Iskur’s trademark scaley look, the fabric is reinforced with multiple layers to avoid tears.
How Adaptable Is the Iskur V2 X Gaming Chair?
The Iskur V2 X aims to be a capableergonomic gaming chairwithout a suite of confusing adjustments. Instead of lumbar support that’s modified with a rear-side knob, the chair has integrated lower back cushioning. While gamers can’t modify intensity or position, it’s curved to surround the lumbar region of most buyers. The Iskur V2 X’s 2D armrests are basic by modern standards but can be rotated, raised, or lowered.
Even at $300, the Iskur V2 X has thesame 152-degree recline as the premium Iskur chairs. Buyers can sit upright while gaming before shifting further back during relaxing evenings.
Previously, one of Razer’s least expensive chairs was theEnki X. The Enki line provides a relaxed sitting experience without needing many knobs and levers. Still, the Iskur V2 X is cheaper and promises instant no-fuss comfort. Even without the 4D armrests of theSecretlab Titan Evo Lite, many buyers may find Razer’s chair a superior value.
During CES 2025, Razer also debuted theProject Ariellechair, which will likely command a much higher price tag. Based on the mesh Fujin Pro, Arielle adds even more comfort with efficient bladeless cooling and heating.
