Summary
A new leak suggests that Epic Games is considering bringing some more old maps toFortnite’s popular Reload mode, including some fan-favorite ones from Chapters 2-5, which might feature areas such as Jungle Biome and other urban locations. Epic Games' formula of bringing back old maps toFortnitehas turned out to be quite successful so far, and it seems like it will be extended to other game modes, as well.
It’s been an eventful year forFortnitefans, with tons of exciting events taking place in the game.Fortnitefeatured blockbuster artists such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Juice WRLD in its concerts in 2024, which was an absolute treat for fans. With the start of a new year, fans are wondering what else will be coming toFortnite, and it seems like the developers might give fans a trip down memory lane.

A new survey, spotted by Twitter user 0xPaarth, gives fans an insight into Epic Games' upcoming plans pertaining toFortnite’s Reload mode. Apparently, the developers are potentially consideringbringing back several old maps toFortniteReload. For now, these seem to focus on maps that are featured in Chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Apart from that, there were some specific themes also allegedly mentioned, such as urban locations, jungle areas, and the Chapter 2 Season 2 map.
Fortnite Fans Excited About Jungle Biome’s Potential Return in Reload
Fans seem to be excited about the potential return of the Jungle Biome from Chapter 4 Season 3. While the map itself back then was quite divisive in the community, many agree that it has some of thebest terrain inFortnitemaps ever. Not to forget, players were also huge fans of the urban areas on the map. However, the Jungle area turned out to be quite controversial, as it was not only technically demanding for PC players, leading to performance issues, but many found it difficult to traverse and repetitive. However, fans think that forFortniteReload, the Jungle area could be revamped into something that could potentially fit pretty well for the nature of the game mode.
So far, Epic Games hasn’t revealed any information about which one of these maps could potentially come toFortnite. It should also be noted that since this information essentially stems from a survey, it is very much possible that none of these get honored altogether. However, considering the success Epic Games has had withbringing back old maps as part ofFortniteOG, it is very likely that some maps may return in the near future.
