This comes from an anonymousReddituser by the handle of NextHandheld, who claimed to have gotten ahold of afinal Switch 2 unitand shared details about their supposed discovery on r/NintendoSwitch2. Mods of the Nintendo Switch 2-dedicated subreddit vouched for this source, claiming that the user provided evidence that they indeed have insider knowledge of the new system.

Nintendo Switch 2 Will Reportedly Have 3 Color Variants

One of the tidbits shared by NextHandheld was that the Nintendo Switch 2 will supposedly come in three different color schemes. One will be a gray system with black buttons, similar to the first version of the Nintendo Switch that launched in 2017. The second will be white, like theNintendo Switch OLED modelthat was introduced in late 2021. Finally, a third will be a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 console themed after a particular game. The leaker didn’t reveal what this would be, but speculators think it could be for a newMariotitle like the often-rumoredMario Kart 9.

NextHandheld shared plenty of other alleged details about the next Nintendo console, seemingly repeating claims that its design will besimilar to the original Nintendo Switchand that it will launch sometime in mid-March. While there is still no official evidence to back up NextHandheld’s claims, they say that they will share proof that they have already handed the Nintendo Switch 2 on Christmas Day.
