Sakamoto Daysanime adaptation will premiere soon, with a second part alreadyconfirmed to debut in July 2025.Sakamoto Daysmanga is currently a big hit, and the series is one of the most anticipated for next year (not considering sequels, likeSolo Leveling), and might be one of the biggest hits in 2025 (but itmight be better to wait and see).

The series is already confirmed to stream internationally on Netflix, simultaneously to the Japanese broadcast schedule,premiering on June 25, 2025. It is still a bit rare for Netflix to make simultaneous releases, but it’s been becoming more common in the last months.

According toMangaReporter,the series will total 22 episodes(just considering this first season, of course, there might be more coming later). The episodeswill be equally divided into two cours, with 11 episodes each part.

Another highlight is the soundtrack composerYuki Hayashi, who worked on many Japanese dramas and movies. His anime portfolio includesMy Hero Academia, HAIKYU!!, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai,manyPrecuremovies and lots of other series.

Sakamoto Daysoriginal manga has been serialized in Shueisha’sShonen Jumpmagazine since 2020, with 19 compiled volumes so far. The story, penned byYuto Suzuki, portrays a retired assassin living a regular family life after falling in love with a girl.

Sakamoto Daysanime adaptation will air on Netflix starting July 07, 2025. The manga is published in the US by VIZ Media.
