Horrorfans who have been patiently waiting for theScream 7actors to be announced will be glad to know that another young star has been cast.
According toDeadline,Mckenna Grace has been cast inScream 7. As the publication noted, her character hasn’t been announced yet. It would make the most sense if she played one of Sidney Prescott’s (Neve Campbell) daughter’s friends since the actresses are around the same age. She could also play one of Sidney’s teenage daughters. Grace has starred in a variety of genres, from thetrue crime miniseriesA Friend of the Familytothe dark dystopian TV dramaThe Handmaid’s Tale. Although she hasn’t appeared in many horror movies, she did star inthe 2021 filmMalignant. Grace has impressed more than a few people with her talent, and since she’s 18 years old now, her career is just getting started.
Scream 7now has four young stars:Asa Germann fromGen ZandThe Boys, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabel May.The latter will be playing Sidney’s daughter, which brings up the question of how old Sidney’s kids were in the previous installments. While the Core Four appeared inScream (2022)andScream 6, Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega aren’t starring inScream 7. And, since it’s unclear if Jasmin Savoy Brown andMason Gooding will reprise their rolesof Mindy and Chad Meeks-Martin, it looks like the Core Four might be over. It will be interesting to see who these four new young adult characters are.

There has been some speculation thatSidney’s child could be Ghostfaceand with four new cast members, it’s definitely possible that one of them will be behind the killing spree.
WhenScream 7is released on February 27th, 2026,hopefully Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) will be part of the cast, along with some other fan favorites such as Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), Mindy Meeks-Martin, and Chad Meeks-Martin. Although the story may still be vague and mysterious, one thing is clear:Scream 7is one of the most highly anticipated horror movies of 2026.
