Summary

Apple TV+has long done things different than other streaming services. It appears the streamer is continuing to march to the beat of its own drum with the recent announcement surrounding the science-fiction adventure thriller,Silo, which is currently in the middle of its second season.

With shows likeSiloandSeverance, the question is always whether or not they’ll be allowed to finish the story they’re telling truly. And with Silo, it’s quite important it be allowed to tell the story completely because it has so many twists and turns. There’s also the fact that there are books, so people know in which directions a story is going to go and that means that the i’s need to be dotted and the ts need to be crossed. The good news there is it appears that Apple TV+ understands the importance of finishing the tale.

Season one of theApple TV+ seriesshowed new sheriff Juliette Nichols being forced to go outside to “clean” after uncovering a series of cover-ups and corruption among those who keep the peace and enforce the law in her silo. Juliette did lean that people are able to get farther away than it’s appeared on the screen everyone watches when someone goes outside. However, she also learned that there is still plenty of poison in the air as she’s just able to make it to another silo, which has since been left almost entirely empty after an uprising led to everyone in that silo going outside and seemingly dying.

Season 2 ofSilohas been a bit of a race against time as Juliette realized that her getting out and not dying on screen will make everyone in her home believe that going outside is perfectly safe. At this point in the story, she’s working with a man known only as Solo, her new home’s only other resident, who is helping her put a suit together so she can go outside once again. Meanwhile, authorities are trying to stomp out a brewing uprising while keeping themselves in charge and continuing to hide the truth about everything the residents have been told.
