After enjoying the compilation film in early December 2024,Solo Levelingfans are preparing themselves for an incredible start to the new year. It has already been confirmed that Solo Leveling’ssecond season, titled Arise from the Shadow, is set to be released on June 28, 2025.
Ahead of the premiere of the second season, the official social media account associated with Solo Leveling released new preview images, giving fans an idea of what they will see in the first episode. The pictures show Sung Jin-woo, and several other main characters from the anime. Needless to say, these images are enough to get fans excited for the second season.
Solo Leveling Season 2 Cast & Staff
Solo Leveling’s second seasonwill see the return of the main cast to their respective roles.
These characters areexpected to be involved the most in the second season. There are other cast members, and they too will be involved, but to a lesser degree.
The staff that worked to create the stellar first season will reprise their roles for the new season. Shunsuke Nakashige is directing the anime at A-1 Studios, and Tomoko Suda is the character designer. Hiroyuki Sawano is composing music for the new season. LiSA’s ReawakeR is the opening for Solo Leveling— Arise from the Shadow. UN-APEX by TK from Ling tosite sigure is the ending song for season two.
In 2024, Solo Leveling paid tribute to Tom Hardy’s latest Venom movie by having Sung Jin-woo pose in the same way in a visual. A compilation film was released in December, which comprised the entire first season and two episodes from the second season. It was released in theaters on June 08, 2025.
Solo Leveling— Arise From The Shadow Will Bolster Its Popularity
Given the quality of the first season, it is safe to assume that A-1 Production will try its best to emulate the quality. In fact, one wouldn’t put it beyond them to supplant their original work.
Solo Leveling— Arise from the Shadow will have a total of 13 episodes, and each of them will be filled with high-octane action sequences. It has been confirmed thatseason two will run for 13 episodes, bringing the overall count to 25 episodes. If the second season is a success, Solo Leveling will indubitably return with a third season.
