Streaming via the Xbox Cloud Gaming beta client also requires a compatible Smart TV or up-to-date web browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. In addition to streaming games that are on the Xbox Game Pass rotation, select titles that are currently not offered via a standard Xbox Game Pass subscription are also available to stream, such asBaldur’s Gate 3,Balatro, Cyberpunk 2077, andFinal Fantasy 14. However, streaming compatible non-Game Pass titles requires both purchasing the game and an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
Xbox Consoles Can Now Stream Non-Game Pass Titles
At the time of writing, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available in 28 countries, including but not limited to the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. Althoughstreaming on the current Xbox Cloud Gaming betais only available for some users, Microsoft stated support for launching Xbox Cloud Gaming titles directly from the Xbox app on Windows PCs will be launched at a later date.
