The first Frosty Fest ofSplatoon 3took place in the middle of January 2024, and 2025’s event also takes place during the same period of time.

Unlike2024’s Frosty Fest, which asked the player who they’d spend the holidays with (options being Friends, Family, or Solo), 2025’s theme is about what makes the player the happiest. Since the Frosty Fest is Holiday/New Year-themed, the player can choose between whether money, experiences, or presents make them happy. Shiver represents money, Fyre represents Experiences, and Big Man represents Presents.

To celebrate the return of Frosty Fest, fans can get some free cosmetics via theSplatoonSwitch News channel. This will give fans seasonal headgear fromSplatoon 2to wear, including the Festive Party Cone, New Year’s Glasses DX, Twisty Headband, and an Eel-Cake Hat. This is the first time fans can get theseSplatoon 3headgear itemsif they missed the original Frosty Fest from earlier this year.
