After helping Dr. Viktoria withlocating the missing expedition groups, she’ll now task Skif with helping out a scientist named Trachuk inStalker 2. Trachuk is in trouble, and due to the important research he’s conducting in The Zone, it’s imperative that you help him out. Accepting Dr. Viktoria’s request will start the second instance of the Black Sheep side quest, which will entail helping Trachuk get his Flash Drive, without Ward getting a hold of his research.
Locating the Flash Drive For Trachuk In Stalker 2
Head east of STC Malachite to reach the scientist Trachuk in anabandoned vehicle station warehouse. He’s located in a small room attached to the warehouse on the left. He’ll inform Skif about how he’s left the Flash Drive with important data in the field lab located on the second floor of the vehicle station.
You must head inside the warehouse and go toward the left side to find a ramp leading up the containers. Scale the containers and use the metal beam on the right side to reach the other end of the warehouse. Now, drop onto the containers in the middle and use them to cross over to the other side.
Take your time while climbing and jumping in the warehouse as the chemical bubble anomaly will inflictacidic damage.
After passing through the concrete beam by crouching, you’ll need to head to the field lab by traversing through containers and the metal beam on the right side. Once inside the lab on the second floor,you can grab the Flash Drive on a desk.
Should You Give The Flash Drive To Ward Or Refuse?
Once you get down and head toward Trachuk, he’ll bedetained by the Ward. One of the soldiers will approach Skif and ask him to hand over the Flash Drive to him. You must make a choice here depending on their standing with the Ward faction. you’re able to either:
This is an isolated event and isn’t impacted by the overarching story of the main missions i.e. post-SIRCAA invasion. Otherwise, the soldiers would have attacked you on sight.
If you’ve received aWard Badge from Col. Korshunov, during the “Back to the Slag Heap” main mission, it’s recommended that you use it here tostand the soldiers down. However, if you don’t have it, it’s recommended totake the soldiers out lethallyto prevent the Flash Drive from falling into the hands of the Ward.
After that, hand over the Flash Drive to Trachuk.
If you’re looking for anincreased reward, you may ask Trachuk more about the Flash Drive and then raise the price for handing it back. It’s a greedy route, but weapon upgrades don’t come cheap inStalker 2.
Report Back To Dr. Viktoria
Once you’re done, head back toSTC Malachiteto report back to Dr. Viktoria and inform her of how you’ve successfully retrieved the Flash Drive for Trachuk.
She’ll appreciate Skif for his efforts in the endeavor and will know the outcome of the Ward encounter. You willreceive 12,146 Couponsas a reward for completing Trachuk’s instance of the Black Sheep side mission inStalker 2.
