Besides features like the ability to toggle lightsaber colors and the addition of cheat code support, players can take control of some new characters, with Jar Jar Binks being the most recently announced.

Aspyr broke the news by releasing a new trailer forJedi Power Battles, unveiling gameplay for Jar Jar Binks. The video showcased the iconic Gungan in action, taking on various enemies. While some fans might have unrealistically hoped for the character to use a red lightsaber and take on the infamousDarth Jar Jar persona from fan theories, he appears to attack with a large staff in the game. In addition, he features various chaotic voice lines that one would expect from the clumsy character. Jar Jar Binks will be playable at the launch ofJedi Power Battleson January 23, but fans can already pre-order the game.
New Jedi Power Battles Characters Revealed So Far
It is worth pointing out that Aspyr is adding many other playable characters to the game with its upcoming release on modern platforms. Beyond Jar Jar Binks, the developer has revealednine other new playable characters forJedi Power Battles, with several more still expected to be announced. These additions include some variety, like the recognizable Staff Tusken Raider and Rodian. Some droid types are also becoming playable, with Flame Droid, Destroyer Droid, and Rifle Droid joining the roster. In fact, Jar Jar Binks is not the first of his kind to be announced for the game, as the Gungan Guard is set to be playable as well.
