Summary
AStardew Valleycreator found inspiration in their featureless shed and decided to rebuild the Stardrop Saloon inside of it. The creation is surprisingly faithful to theStardew Valleytown watering hole, even bringing a touch of the bar’s regulars into the recreation.
Stardew Valley’s Stardrop Saloonis run in town by Gus, and acts as a meeting place for nearly everyone in the town. Outside of day-to-day visits for dinner and a drink, NPCs also congregate in the Stardrop Saloon in times of unexpected crisis, making it something of an unofficial disaster shelter. This recreation, though, looks like it focuses on the more pleasant times.

Stardew Valleyfan Alarmed_While7963 has shared their recreation of the Stardrop Saloon that they made inside a shed on their farm. Though the shed inherently has less room to work with than the actual saloon, nearly all of the features one would think of being mainstays in the real location are present. The bar, seating areas, and even theStardrop Saloon jukeboxare all included. But to make it particularly homey, the player added mannequins dressed up as some of the most frequent faces seen at the Stardrop Saloon, like Pam, Shane, Gus, and Emily, to name a few.
Stardew Valley Players Have Mixed Reactions to Recreation
While the general consensus seems to be that the recreation is well-done, it seems that many fans are also a little creeped out by some elements. Alarmed_While7963 mentioned that their inspiration for recreating the space was so that their in-game husband, Shane, wouldn’t have to go all the way into town to visit the saloon. However, some have pointed out that this inspiration sounds a little weird, and several others have noted how seeingStardew Valley’s mannequinsset up in the saloon remind them of the filmI Am Legend, where the main character places mannequins to make the apocalyptic world feel a little less empty.
The one thing that’s really missing from their recreation is the arcade machines that can be found in the adjoining room of the actual saloon. However, Alarmed_While7963 pointed out that they haven’t been able tobeat Journey of the Prairie Kingand Junimo Kart, which is the only way to get the arcade games for one’s own home or farm structures. It’s well-known that these two games are difficult, though, and the shed Stardrop Saloon is otherwise an excellent recreation. It would be interesting to see additional important places recreated in sheds, like Pierre’s general store, Willy’s fishing shop, or even the clinic.
