Summary
WhileStardew Valleyhas no ending, achieving perfection is still possible in-game, and one player has managed to accomplish it in both function and form on their Year 68 Farm.Stardew Valleylaunched in February 2016, and it has evolved tremendously over the years, supported both by its hardworking developer and a dedicated community. Inspired by Harvest Moon,Stardew Valleyis, at its core, all about building a thriving farm and forging a bond with the residents of an idyllic town.
As a sandbox, the goal inStardew Valleyis left entirely in the hands of the player. That being said, the game does feature a structured progression system that the player can chase as they slowly rebuild their grandpa’s farm. Initially, it was about progressing through the Mines or rebuilding the Community Center, but the scope has since expanded towards the goal ofachieving Perfection inStardew Valley. Eventually, dedicated players who complete all the content inStardew Valleyare given a special scene at the Summit, a location that was introduced in Update 1.5.

Not only did Reddit user lambocalrissian127 achieve Perfection inStardew Valley, but they also did so with one of the most stunning farms that have ever graced the game’s community. The Mertonas Farm was a multiyear project for lambocalrissian127, with many different iterations built throughoutStardew Valley’s updates. The Mertonas Farm was completed in Year 55 prior to Update 1.6, but the latest version of the game has caused the playthrough to reach Year 68. Notably, the build was accomplished without usingStardew Valleymods.
Stardew Valley Player Completes Stunning Year 68 Farm
While one could argue that the farm sacrifices a bit of its function to maintain such a beautiful layout,Stardew Valleyis ultimately an immersive farming game. Moreover, the layout ofthis particularStardew Valleyfarmexpertly hides a few dedicated workshops. Beyond its well-manicured courtyard are three sheds, each filled to the brim with crafting stations such as kegs, casks, mayonnaise machines, or even theCrystalarium. The Mertonas Farm is able to reliably earn a profit of over two million gold per day by selling Ancient Fruit Wine, Diamonds, and other valuable goods.
It remains to be seen ifmore updates forStardew Valleywill come in the near future, but given Eric Barone’s love for the game and its community, the possibility should never be ruled out. The Mertonas Farm will continue to grow and improve alongside the game, serving as a highlight ofStardew Valleyand proof of its staying power in the gaming community.
