Summary

Much like the strongest fire-type Pokemon trainers, a long list of Water-type experts and specialists populate the many regions of thePokemonworld. Water experts are usually (but not always) the leaders of Pokemon battling facilities such asgyms and the Elite Four, with water trainers such as Wallace venturing higher to league champion status.

Employing the powers of water in battle requires great skill, with the typing easily drowning out others, such as fire and ground, which it is strong against. However, while powerful, water is susceptible to lightning and grass, making a master of water an expert at mitigating against type weaknesses.
