Since Kelex was made of metal, fans saw a reflection of a woman in his head. Many of them were convinced that they were seeing Supergirl. Thus, there was speculation that Alcock would appear in the film. “Could this be Supergirl in the Superman trailer?” DC Brief asked on X, formerly Twitter. The post received mixed responses, with some agreeing with the observation. “Nice catch! " Yeah, I can see a person in it and it looks like long blond hair,” one commented amid the Supergirl discussion, acknowledging the blurred woman figure on Kelex’s head.
However, some argued that they couldn’t see Supergirl and others claimed the figure wasn’t a woman figure but a robot. Others suggested that it was Krypto the Superdog. Krypto’s appearance in theSupermanmovie has already been confirmed. In the first part of the trailer,the superhero is battered and bleedingin the snow, so he calls Krypton for help. So, the argument that the reflection could be Krypto’s was sound. Many were also unsure about the figure that reflected on Kelex’s head.
