Clive Brings His Power to Tekken 8
While the gameplay footage is brief, Clive seems like a powerful fighter from what’s been shown. After charging into the fight, he begins to blaze, attacking with his sword and fist, with his wings periodically reappearing as he hovers and air juggles his opponent. After knocking Jin to the ground and surrounding him with a pillar of flame,Clive calls upon Ifrit, who deals a final blow with a massive flaming fireball.
Final Fantasy 16fans are likely happy to see Clive joinTekken 8, and it may giveTekkenfans new incentive to check out the latest ofFinal Fantasy’s new entries. However, there are probably some fans ofFinal Fantasythat are disappointed, too. Manyplayers demanded Tifa be added toTekken 8while it was still in development, and some have remained hopeful that she could join later on as DLC. While it’s not completely out of the question forTekken 8to include two crossover characters from the same series, it also seems less likely to happen now that Clive has joined the fray. Only time will tell asTekken 8progresses past its first year.
