Summary

If the latest rumor is to be believed,The Last of Usfans could get season three of the fantastic post-apocalyptic HBO series a lot sooner than previously thought. It’s already been almost two years since season one ofThe Last of Uswas released and what a rollercoaster of a journey that was for fans. While the series started off with the heartbreaking scene of Joel’s daughter Sarah and later thetraumatic event surrounding Tess' death, there were plenty of lighter and more wholesome moments that included the gradual bond between Joel and Ellie as well as all of those silly No Pun Intended jokes, which Joel grew to love. The Last of Usseason one finale left its audience on the edge of their seats as Ellie came to realize that maybe the man she looked to as a father figure couldn’t really be trusted after all. With season two of the HBO series not too far away, attention has now been drawn to season three.

It’s just a pity all of those gross zombies and blood splatter will end up ruining it a bit or, for many, an added delightful feature.

However, this time around for HBO’sThe Last of Us, it’s a guarantee that those lighter and more wholesome moments from season one will be a lot harder to come by.
