Lord of the Rings' Billy Boyd And Dominic Monaghan Are Back For Animation

Lord of the Ringsjust wouldn’t be the same without Billy Boyd, who plays Pippin Took, and Dominic Monaghan, as Merry Brandybuck. Thetwo legendary LoTR charactershave been in all three of Jackson’s movies and offer some light-hearted and silly intervals throughout the film’s more, at times, serious demeanor. Although it’s not clear yet who Billy and Dominic will play in the movie animation, or if they will reprise their roles as Merry and Pippin, which seems unlikely given the eraThe Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrimis set in unless the story begins in the present day and then told through flashbacks, it’s really exciting that the beloved characters are reuniting on the big screen once more. If this news isn’t exciting enough, the late Christopher Lee, who played the role of Saruman the White in the original trilogy, will alsomake a surprising return to Middle Earthand play a significant role in the movie.
