In his war, Aegon Targaryen brought about the subjugation of most of Westeros and imposed the political sword of House Targaryen on his subjects. After his successful military campaign, Westeros became a political unit ruled by the Targaryens. The dragons, of course, were a core part of their deterrence strategy.
SinceAegon conquered Westerosin less than two years, this makes the Conquest an ideal choice for aGame of Thronesmovie. The conquest will also be a character-driven story, bringing the most important Targaryens, viz Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys, into focus. It will be a fascinating insight into the early Targaryen settlements in Westeros and their relationship with the royalty and smallfolk.

A Repository Of Major Battles
Robert’s Rebellion, or the War of the Usurper, has been a fan demand for quite some time now. It is a treasure trove of crucial battles and events preceding the War of the Five Kings. Although it represented a victory for Houses Baratheon, Stark, Arryn, and Tully, it was a blunder in the history of Westeros. House Baratheon could not keep peace for long, and Westeros was cast into full-blown war in the time that followed.
Many wrongs occurred during the course of the rebellion, and House Targaryen (save forthe Mad King, Aerys) was unjustly ousted from the city their ancestor, Aegon, built. The crown princeRhaegar and his newly-wedded wife, Lyanna Stark, died in the rebellion, and their love story was given a bad name. Jon and Daenerys, born during the war, suffered the psychological impact of traumatic events that were passed down through their elders. Daenerys was spirited away, and Jon was lied to all his life. Robert’s Rebellion paves the way for the coming of the War of the Five Kings, and as a result, would smoothly stitch two consecutive conflicts together.

A Promising Tale Of Drama, Action And Mystery
The Doom of Valyria deserves a cinematic adaptation because it is a major event in the history of the Known World. It was set off by a chain of eruptions of the Fourteen Flames volcanoes that wreaked havoc across the Freehold. It destroyed the cradle of civilization: the Valyrian Freehold which had flourished for thousands of years. The Targaryen prophecy about the Doom (Daenys' dream) led to Lord Aenar Targaryen’s migration of his household to the Freehold’s westernmost outpost: Dragonstone.
Aenar believed in Daenys' dream, and moved to Dragonstone to secure House Targaryen’s future.The Doom of Valyriahad a dramatic impact on the course of history, and it shaped the future of Westeros. The mystery eruption has elements of intrigue, action, and destruction, but will be bolstered by the fascinating dragonlord lore.
The First Blackfyre Rebellion
A Storyline That Would Tie In WithA Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms
HBO should seize the opportunity withthe First Blackfyre Rebellion, since its events or the whole entire rebellion itself is expected to be woven into the upcomingGame of ThronesspinoffA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The rebellion split the realm into two, and the toll of human life and loss was catastrophic. Much like the Dance of the Dragons, the Blackfyre Rebellion has an interesting background: an unworthy king on the Iron Throne topping off his misrule and misdeeds by legitimizing all his bastard children before death.
Daemon I Blackfyre is an antihero, but an enemy and a traitor in the eyes of Targaryen loyalists nonetheless. He rises in rebellion against his trueborn halfbrother, and King Aegon’s rightful heir, Daeron II. He is Aegon IV’s favored son, and the inheritor ofthe Conqueror’s Valyrian Steel Sword, Blackfyre. Daemon’s councilors take Aegon IV’s former act of bestowing Blackfyre to mean that the King chose his bastard son over his heir. King Daeron II had enemies at court, but Daemon was a stealthy warrior, well known for his martial skills and the looks of the Conqueror.The Blackfyre Rebellions, on the whole, are popular with the fandom. The saga is an opportunity waiting to be taken advantage of.
