NCSoft has kicked off its firstThrone and Libertyupdate for 2025, introducing several quality-of-life enhancements along with plenty of bug fixes. TheThrone and Libertydeveloper has also announced that the Startree Solstice Pass Point Shop will stick around until January 16 to give players more time to use their unspent Shop Points.
Throne and Libertyis a free-to-play MMORPG that did pretty well in its early days, peaking at 54,812 concurrent players before its full release. Even thoughThrone and Libertysuffered from some technical issues, players have enjoyed its flexible character progression system along with other engaging features. The developer has rolled out a patch to address some of these problems while also bringing new content through Halloween and Christmas events. 2025 has just started, and NCSoft is already rolling up its sleeves to address player feedback.
Among some of the general changes introduced inThrone and Libertyupdate 1.12.0 are combat improvements, such as an enhanced way of displaying party member beneficial effects on screen. Additionally, the way combat presets are displayed has been improved, making it easier for players to adjust their settings. Other combat changes involve fixes to how incoming damage is reflected in certainThrone and Libertydungeonsor Dimensional Trials. Plus, players will no longer be able to place the cursor over a party member to auto-target them.
Players adventuring inThrone and Liberty’s Saurodoma Island dungeonshould know that the token selection box will expire after 24 hours if not used. Moreover, those who try to consume Training Dew while equipping a weapon at max weapon mastery will receive a reminder that the experience won’t apply to the capped weapon type. Adjustments have been made to maps to improve how the region details UI information. Other UI changes include inventory adjustments, better team management in War Games, more options for particular interfaces, chat functionality improvements, and more.
As in thepreviousThrone and Libertyupdate, this one fixes several other issues. For instance, it improves search functionality on consoles, addresses problems with non-target abilities, and fixes issues with the Battle Pass.
The developer also let players know that, due to an issue that prevented them from making the best use of the Startree Solstice Pass Point Shop, the duration of the shop will be extended until January 16, allowing them to use their unspent Shop Points. With all these changes and updates,Throne and Libertyis set for a more polished start to 2025.
