Other events in the past have celebrated occasions such as April Fools, Midsummer, and Thanksgiving, although they haven’t been mainstays like the main trio.

Players can begin the event by speaking to Cecilia in Falador Park, where they’ll be tasked with rehoming five festive furry friends before the holiday season ends. Gamers who complete theOSRSquestwill earn several new cosmetic items, including several Dog Disguise items and a Present Box Hat with several color variations. It’s also worth remembering that completing this Christmas event grants players access to every single previous Christmas reward from years gone by, obtained by speaking to Diango in Draynor Village.

Old School RuneScape’s 2024 Christmas Event Starts Today (December 10)

On December 16, Jagex will be holding 2024’s Christmas Parade in-game, with a route taking gamers between Falador, Varrock, and Lumbridge. It’s a cool way to bring players together during the holidays. Jagex has not yet stated when the Christmas event will end, although it did confirm that the festive update will be the last one until January 8 next year, so hopefully it lasts until then, at least.RuneScape 3’s Christmas event began on December 2, but nowOSRSplayers can join the holiday cheer by hopping online.
