Omens of Destruction, the new major DLC forTotal War: Warhammer 3that focuses on expanding several of the game’s factions, is now available. This paid expansion went live alongside the most recent update forTotal War: Warhammer 3, which addressed a long list of bugs, adjusted campaign parameters, and delivered various other tweaks.
Developer Creative Assembly has been regularly releasing additional content for theTotal War: Warhammerseries' third entry ever since thecritically acclaimed grand strategy gamelaunched in 2022. The studio quickly bolstered the rosters of the Dwarfs, Empire, and followers of Nurgle via April’sThrones of DecayLord Pack. More factions have received similar changes in Creative Assembly’s latest DLC, which has just dropped.

TheOmens of Destructionexpansion features three newTotal War: Warhammer 3Legendary Lords, namely the Greenskins war boss Gorbad Ironclaw, Golgfag Maneater of the Ogre Kingdoms, and Khorne champion U’Zhul the Skulltaker. Also included in the DLC are four Legendary Heroes, nine Regiments of Renown, and 15 regular units. Each new Legendary Lord comes with a unique campaign mechanic, such as Gorbad Ironclaw’s Da' Plan which incentivizes players to mix and match units in their armies to unlock special bonuses and perks.

Creative Assembly also releasedupdate 6.0 forTotal War: Warhammer 3to coincide with the launch ofOmens of Destruction. All players will have access to the new Legendary Lord Arbaal the Undefeated thanks to this patch, which implemented plenty of campaign tweaks for the Greenskins, Khorne’s faithful, and Ogre Kingdoms. Update 6.0 fixed many bugs as well, including one connected to the Ice Court mechanic of Kislev, widely considered to be amongTotal War: Warhammer 3’s hardest factions, that caused crashes. Other changes brought by the latest patch include the addition of a province called the Cathayan Hinterlands and the introduction of the Daemonic Reforging mechanic to help sustain aggressive Chaos factions.
Total War: Warhammer 3’sOmens of Destructionexpansion can be purchased for $22.92, but players can opt to buy the individual Greenskins, Khorne, and Ogre Kingdoms packs for $8.99 each. This system was implemented following complaints from the community regarding last year’sShadow of ChangeDLC and the handling ofTotal War: Pharaoh, which ultimately resulted inCreative Assembly issuing a public apology.
