Undisputeddeveloper Steel City Interactive has released the highly-anticipated December update for its boxing simulation game, bringing new quality-of-life improvements, content, and bug fixes to the game. Patch 1.2 has been eagerly anticipated by the community afterUndisputedlaunched with a myriad of issues earlier this year, but is thankfully available to download and install now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

After years without a major boxing video game release, Steel City Interactive looked to fill the void with the launch ofUndisputedin October. Unfortunately, despite the fact that the title was in early access for almost two years,Undisputedlaunched to mixed reviewsdue to its bugs and “bare-bones” career mode. One of the major issues plaguingUndisputedwas overpowered power punches, which many players said were ruining the game’s online modes. Thankfully, Steel City addressed the issue in its first update back in November and is once again back with even more improvements.

Following on fromUndisputed’s first update in November, Steel City has released patch 1.2 for all supported platforms. Fans will now find two new venues to fight in: Cambrian Hall, located in the heart of England’s Capital, and Atlantis, an underwater aquarium-like venue. There are also some new cosmetic items as both Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk receive an additional free outfit that will allow players to recreate the fighter’s historic battle from earlier in the year. The two heavyweight fighters are set to meet again in a highly-anticipated rematch on December 21, with the WBA, WBC, and WBO titles all on the line.

Undisputed’s career modeis also receiving some big improvements with patch 1.2. According to the official patch notes, which can be viewed further down this article, players now have the ability to move up and down a weight class from their starting weight, allowing fans to become the undisputed champion in three different divisions. Steel City says it has also made a range of quality-of-life improvements to the career mode’s UI and has also added boxing correspondent Gareth A Davies to the career mode media feed.

For those jumping into multiplayer matches, the developers have once again made adjustments toUndisputed’s controversial power punches. Steel City says it has “slightly reduced” the stamina cost on missed punches and power punches, in order to make combination and pressure fighting a more viable option. Players can also now compete in the Cruiserweight, Bantamweight, and Light Heavyweight divisions in both quick fight and online ranked.
