Geoff Keighley’s annualThe Game Awards showis nearly upon us. Taking place onDecember 12, 2024, at 7:30p ET / 4:30p PT, the awards presentation will celebrate the best of the best in the video game industry. As mentioned in the intro,The Game Awards' Opening Act will start at 4:30 PM PT (Los Angeles) / 7:30 PM ET (NYC) on Thursday night, December 12. In the past,these game award shows have lasted around 2.5 to 4 hours. Some shows have even gone on longer than that, so if you’re planning a watch party or something, keep that in mind. If you live on the East Coast, you might end up watching the show until almost midnight.
