Miyo and Kiyoka Are Introduced To Each Other’s Family

In thefirst season ofMy Happy Marriage, Miyo Saitori is born into a prestigious magical family, although she does not possess any magical powers. Because of this, she spent a number of years dealing with abuse from her stepmother after her mother passed away, until she finally became engaged to Kiyoka Kudo. However, his past seems to bring up a lot of questions for Miyo, as he had been engaged before, only for each fiancée to run away in fear. However, Miyo soon realizes that everything is not as bad as it seems as she gets to know Kiyoka better.

In the second season being released in January 2025, a new trailer shows Miyo awakening from a distressing dream about Kiyoka, leading her torealize that she possesses a dream-sight ability, and is the only one who holds this power in the world. After being introduced to Kiyoka’s caring father, and unwelcoming mother, she is determined to use her newfound abilities to secure her place in the family and feel she can be useful to them. Kiyoka’s mother is especially demanding of Miyo, and it seems Miyo wants to prevent a repeat of her family life at home.

While Miyo will struggle at first with her new life and abilities,she will have Kiyoka at her sidealong the way to give her support. She is even willing to risk her life if it means protecting her husband and being able to use her ability for him. At the end of the preview, fans will also notice a man claiming to be Miyo’s father arriving on the scene in an ominous way, also known as Naoshi Usui, the leader of the Gifted Communion. Whatever roadblocks are thrown their way, this season will show Miyo and Kiyoka overcoming these obstacles together and developing their relationship.
