World of Warcraftplayers can get three brand-new collectibles as free gifts for the Feast of Winter Veil this year: the Box of Puntables, the Winter Veil Cracker, and the Portentous Present. The Feast of Winter Veil isWorld of Warcraft’s analogue to the real-life Christmas holiday. Beyond the various achievements fans can earn and activities they can participate in during the event,World of Warcraftadds a handful of gifts under the treeslocated in Ironforge and Orgrimmar that players can open starting on December 25 that contain consumables, old collectibles, and at least one new item, such as the Junior Timekeeper’s Belt toy from Winter Veil in 2024.
This year,World of Warcraftadded not one, but three new items under the tree for all fans to collect. From now through January 1, players who open these gifts will get the Portentous Present battle pet, plus the Box of Puntables and Winter Veil Cracker toys. Adding the Box of Puntables to one’s collection will also earn a special What Could It Be? Feat of Strength achievement for obtaining this year’s special gifts.
World of Warcraft Feast of Winter Veil 2024 Gifts
There is a second Feat of Strength fans can earn, even after Winter Veil is over. By punting 30 creatures summoned by the Box of Puntables, players can get the Gotta Punt em’ All achievement. By default, the Box of Puntables can only summon Father Winter’s Helpers – but by opening the Winter Veil Cracker with another character, fans have a chance to obtain new types of creatures for that character’s Box of Puntables, including Globe Yetis, Grumplings, and Tiny Snowmen. The loot box obtained bybeating the Abominable Greench inWorld of Warcrafteach dayalso has a chance to drop the Baby Greench and Rotten Little Helper puntables as well.

Were this not enough, fans also get 25 Bronze Celebration Tokens from these Winter Veil gifts once per account. With less than two weeks left ofWoW’s 20th anniversary celebration, this stipend can help players pick up the last of the rewards from it – or obtain moreTimewarped Badges if they’ve bought everything from theWorld of Warcraftevent.
Though the gifts can only be opened until January 2, the rest of the Feast of Winter Veil runs until January 5. Fans should be sure to get in their Greench kills, finish their achievement hunts, and tame the newDreaming Festive Reindeer Hunter pet inWorld of Warcraftbefore then.
