Patch 11.0.7, titled Siren Isle, is coming toWorld of Warcraftsoon. The last content update of Season 1 ofThe War Withinbrings players to the Siren Isle, a mysterious island filled with new secrets, activities, andcosmetics forWorld of Warcraftfans to earn.
Now,World of Warcrafthas officially revealed the content update’s patch notes ahead of its release. Blizzard even partnered withWoWcontent creator Kelani to make a short video showcasing the new activities, changes, and rewards in the update.
Some of the biggest alterations came in the form ofbuffs to nearly a dozen racial abilities inWorld of Warcraft, mainly focused around those used by underperforming Allied Races. Additionally, Humans, Kul Tirans, and the Human form of Worgen receive the pointed ear customization used by most of the Arathi of Hallowfall.
Several quality-of-life improvements are coming in the update as well.Cross-factionWorld of Warcraftgroups will be able to queue into dungeonstogether, provided they have a full group. Additionally, several changes to Harbinger Crests are coming to make gearing up for the end of Season 1 easier, with less of the currency required to purchase Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crests or the Crest trade-up bags. What’s more, Mythic+ dungeons will now grant additional scaling rewards, while the currency penalty for failing a key’s timer will be lessened. Lastly, all transmogs from previously-completed quests should be unlocked automatically when logging onto a character for the first time.
Of course, some of the most important parts of the update come with their questlines. A new campaign chapter, Lingering Shadows, awaits players, promising to reunite them with a “familiar face” in a narrative bridge betweenThe War WithinandWorld of WarcraftPatch 11.1, Undermined. Additionally, fans will be able to explore the fate of the Kirin Tor in the aftermath of Dalaran’s destruction as they say goodbye to those who were lost, and help the survivors figure out how to rebuild and move on. These quests, updates, and a slew of other UI and accessibility improvements, will be added to the game when the patch goes live on December 17.

Answer the Call of the Siren Isle
Explore alongside the goblin, earthen, and Arathi expedition teams to learn more about the “singing crystal” located at the heart of Siren Isle.
While battling through enemies new and old with daring bravado, earn a new currency—Flame-Blessed Iron—to trade for items like mounts, pets, gear, and transmogs. It can also be used to open one of three Excavation sites on the island, allowing players to kill a formidable foe and earn unique rewards.
A powerful new ring—Cyrce’s Circlet—is available by completing the Siren Isle introductory quest line. By completing a series of quests, players can upgrade their ring over time to increase its item level and gain new powers to help them on Siren Isle.
Players can also earnSinging Citrines, which can be socketed in and out of Cyrce’s Circlet. These Citrines can be mixed and matched to create powerful combinations, and the gems can be socketed and unsocketed as they see fit.
Arathi Ear Customizations for Humans and Kul Tiran
Humans and Kul Tiran will gain new Arathi ear customizations. Head over to the Barber Shop to change up your appearance.
