The Fate of the Kirin Tor questline fromWorld of WarcraftPatch 11.0.7, Siren Isle, has been delayed for three weeks. Though the rest of the content in theWorld of Warcraftupdate is now available, fans will have to wait until August 01, 2025, to see what happens to the survivors of Dalaran’s destruction.
World of WarcraftPatch 11.0.7, Siren Isle, is officially live on the NA servers, and will soon be following suit across the globe with the weekly reset. The update introduces tons of new content to the game, includingbuffs to severalWorld of Warcraftracial abilitiesand classes, a narrative bridge betweenThe War Withinand Patch 11.1, and a zone full of activities and rewards called the Siren Isle.
However, one of the major features marketed for Patch 11.0.7 is not available for players quite yet. The Fate of the Kirin Tor is a new questline that was advertised as one of the headlining story chapters for the update in which fans would help Khadgar, Jaina, Kalec, and other former and current members of the Kirin Tor recover and mourn after thedestruction of Dalaran in the opening volley ofWorld of Warcraft: The War Within. That said, now that the servers are live, players have discovered a timer over Khadgar saying the questline won’t be available until June 08, 2025 – 21 days after the patch’s release.
World of Warcraft Patch 11.0.7 Kirin Tor Questline Delayed
Needless to say, players are not happy with this delay. The quest was marketed as one of themajor features forWorld of WarcraftPatch 11.0.7, and suddenly pushing it back three weeks led many to feel cheated – especially since there was no prior indication that it wouldn’t be available right away. This discovery soured an otherwise exciting content update for many Kirin Tor and Dalaran fans who were looking forward to experiencing this questline right away.
On the other hand, it does make sense forWorld of Warcraftto wait a little bit before making this quest available.World of WarcraftPatch 11.1 does not have a release date yet, but it will likely arrive in mid-February, approximately eight weeks after Patch 11.0.7. Spreading the update’s stories out over a few weeks will serve to make the gap between patches feel less empty, and it gives players something to look forward to in the interim. Even so, most fans agree that it would have been nice if Blizzard had told them ahead of time.
